We translate insurance policies, surveys, claims material, proposal forms and reinsurance material for Israeli insurance companies, international reinsurance companies, surveyors and loss adjusters, insurance agents and consultants, as well as lawyers and accountants specialising in insurance and reinsurance work. We also translate insurance policies for multinational companies and overseas investors holding local policies in Hebrew.

 

Targumbit was established by Michael Hillman, who has worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry for over 20 years, both in the London market and in Israel.

 

Michael started his insurance career in London working for an insurance agency and went on to establish his own insurance brokerage, Hillman Insurance Consultants Ltd., specialising in property owners insurance. Following an offer to purchase Hillman Insurance, Michael immigrated to Israel and served as the facultative reinsurance manager at Ayalon Insurance Company for eight years. In addition to arranging property and liability reinsurance for major industries and professional firms, Michael was also involved in translating insurance policies, surveys, financial statements, claims and other underwriting material from Hebrew to English.

 

In 2007, Michael decided to establish his own business specialising in Hebrew to English translations for the insurance and reinsurance industry, and over the last few years Targumbit has become a brand name in the Israeli insurance industry and gained a reputation as a specialist insurance and reinsurance translation company.
